AMINA K.
Amina K. was founded in 2009 by Amina Khalil. After studying Fashion Design and Marketing in London and interning in different fields in the fashion industry, Amina decided to go back to Cairo and launch her own brand.All pieces are produced at the Amina K. workshop where a team of a dozen tailors work together while allowing Amina to try on each and every style herself.
The brand’s product range includes women’s wear and men’s shirts. The pieces are designed to be mixed, matched and layered. There are endless possibilities of how one can wear Amina K. which gives each person the freedom to create their individual style.
Today, the designer has decided to move away from the fashion calendar by creating seasonless K-apsule collections, promoting slow fashion and sustainability. Each K-apsule collection is exclusive, limited and timeless. Amina has also been exploring upcycling while working with prints and fabrics from previous collections, making sure that Amina K. pieces are here to stay for more than one season.
